Under the grey skies, the city of Norwich continues its usual routine within the illusion of normality, but not for long. Late winter sets, as inside the river Yare, in the far outskirts of the city a mysterious item is unveiled from the dirt. Hidden for centuries, a strange bronze coloured amulet shines out into the world once again, its jade eye staring at whoever finds it. The mystery begins as everyone struggles to know its history.
Then, an underestimated young man of twenty-one was handed his first assignment. The effort was to prove that he does not have the potential to become a researcher. Confidently, Matt grabbed the brown messenger bag he had hidden up in his closet. He was ready to prove himself to the others.
